ga: Pink Ride Breast Cancer Fundraiser - 09/13/08 07:15 PM
Darlene and I had a blast today at the 2nd annual Pink Ride for Breast Cancer research. Melinda Gresham put the event together and EXIT Realty Showcase, Rome, GA sponsored the event and we donated our time today to help for a cause that we strongly believe in.......... today there were 61 riders that was double the amount of riders as last year!!!! We look froward to helping next year!

My husband and I just recently drove from Rome,GA to Pennsylvania to visit his brother and wife. In Rome we have suffered from a drought that is worse than it has been in over 150 years. Until this month we had a deficit over 19 inches. In spite of all this our foliage has managed to stay lush except some choice lawns have been burned. Thankfully we have had rain and now everything is gorgeous again!!!
