Will Optimism Pave The Way In 2009

I believe we all need an optimistic boost in these times! I believe that one's attitude dictates quite a bit with regard to fully presenting just what an incredible buyer's market it is right now! Thanks to the recent Stimulus Bill, buyers will now have a true credit of $8,000 that does not require repayment over time. That's a pretty awesome incentive! How many of us buyers agents are spreading this incredible news? I hope that everyone is.

I've been racking my brain to come up with an appropriate analogy to express my optimism toward our currently amazing buyer's market. I love to go surfing in the warmer months(keep in mind that I live in the Pacific Northwest). One can draw many parallels between surfing and life. Some days are filled with waves of activity while others seem flat. I view our current market as a huge wave of opportunity for lots of people to ride!

It's time to encourage our fence riding clients to hop off, grab a few planks off of the fence and create their own surfboards of opportunity. The time to start seriously paddling is RIGHT NOW. It's those who choose to remain on shore(or perched on their fences)who will never know just how amazing the surfing is today!

Is Active Rain Effective?

I certainly hope that Active Rain is effective. Although I've been in the business for several years now, I'm only now beginning to understand the true effectiveness of interrelating several avenues of my web presence to drive and increase business. I enjoy technology, but I much more prefer being in front of clients than the impersonal feeling I get from web only contact as a primer.
