real estate: The Importance of Submitting Your Website to Directories - 11/17/07 09:57 PM
Did you know that submitting your website to directories can help boost your overall rankings in Google and Yahoo? It's true. My company specializes in search engine optimization for real estate agents and brokers nationwide, and I always submit my client websites to directories. Some directories charge a fee, others require a reciprocal link and others are actually free. One way inbound links are the very best in terms of boosting your rankings, so try to find directories that don't require a link back whenever possible. It's worth $25 to get a one way link if the directory is worth anything. Some directories are

real estate: What Is Invisible to Google? - 11/12/07 11:41 AM
Google Search Engine Crawlers can only read TEXT. This means characters. This means letters. This means TEXT ONLY. Now, this is a problem, because text is not always the prettiest thing in the world, but too bad. Text is all that search engine crawlers can read. If you want a website to show up on the top page of any search engine rankings, you're going to have to have a website that's built in TEXT. The fact that Google can only read text is a quanundrum, but don't dismay. Web brains have figured out ways to jazz up text to make it look more dynamic
