I was not aware of this article, but here in the mountains were we see relatively high levels this would effect us here as well. If this is true maybe we should rethink the advise we give to our clients here in WNC. I think I am going to look a bit more into this one. New Event At Highland Lake - 10/11/09 09:43 AM
I just got an email from Highland Lake. They are starting a new concert series and it looks like a fun event. Live Music Comes to The Lake House! They opened with Dwayne Briggs on Thursday, October 8 and today is the next one. These events start with a pot luck, followed by the live guest. The time frame is from 6pm to 9 pm. Tonight's guest is Mieka Pauley and her website is: http://mieka.com/ if you want to check her out. Since this is fairly new event, there aren't any further guest lined up on Highland Lake's website. Fall is here. The pumpkins were out in Fletcher near the library, beautifully displayed. They had so many kinds, colors and shapes. It was really fun to walk through all of the rows. I am thinking I need to grow some of these beauties.
Getting ready for the pies and pumpkin faces on the porch. And all the trick and treaters looking for goodies.
