deficiency judgement: What to do - short sale lender pursues deficiency. - 09/16/10 03:55 PM

Hi John, This is an after the short sale question. We short-saled our house last year, but did not consult a real-estate lawyer. Anyhow, the short sale went through and now the second lender is coming after us. We don't want to declare bankruptcy. At the same time, we can not pay the lender. Even if we can work out a payment plan, they will not issue a "paid in full", even after we finish paying the amount we agreed upon.
