duplexes: Why Would Anyone Buy Their Landlord's Home When They Could Buy Their Own? - 11/04/11 01:23 PM
Why Buy A Home For Your Landlord When You Could Establish Your Own Future?

Buyers in the Cedar City World of Real Estate are buying the bargains as they are in most areas in the country.  We are seeing homeowners as well as investors taking advantage of the low prices and low interest rates which can translate into low and affordable monthly payments.  Whether buyers want the joy and security of owning their homes or the future wealth in owning rentals, I believe now is the time to take advantage of the sea of opportunity in the form of gorgeous … (1 comments)

duplexes: Do You Agree That The Wave of The Next Decade Seems to be Rentals? - 10/22/11 12:27 AM
Amazing!  I have read recent news reports from reliable sources, in my opinion, that state it's time for investors to step up to the plate and hit a home run!  Due to poor credit, thanks to foreclosures, short sales, etc., many buyers are planning to rent because they can't buy until their credit improves.  Some buyers simply have a good case of the jitters!  For whatever reason, the experts seems to suggest that now is the time to become a landlord to provide homes for the renters!
This sounds like good advice to me while prices and interest rates are both … (9 comments)

duplexes: Short Sale Woes Can Sometimes Be Overcome With a Happy Home Buyer! - 12/10/10 06:36 PM
Short Sales turn some buyers away.  Other buyers are patient, stick it out, close and move into their new happy home!  Buying a short sale may make some buyer's dreams come true, so it's worth considering. In most cases, fast sales are not an option with a short sale.  Therefore, if you want to move into a home quickly like before Christmas, try another home.
Sellers do need to check with professionals such as accountants and attorneys regarding the pitfalls and make sure they are comfortable.  If they decide it is important to them to avoid foreclosure, their home may be just … (2 comments)

duplexes: Cedar City, UT, Real Estate News! Investors Return! What about your area? - 10/22/09 12:00 AM
Are investorys back in your real estate market?  To what level--many or few?  We are seeing  some investors back in our area!  That's a really great sign for a market turnaround in my opinion.  What do you think?  One of my investors just signed closing documents today on a 4-plex.  It was a great buy!  There are lots of great buys on multi-units, and I believe we will see more investors taking advantage of these great deals while both rates and interest are low at the same time!  Do you agree the time is here?

duplexes: Cedar City is a fabulous place to live--right where most people come to play! - 10/08/08 06:52 PM
Everywhere I go; people want to know, "How's the Market," so I tell them!  The real estate market is simply not all doom and gloom as the media portrays. Cedar City still has a healthy real estate market compared to many areas in the nation.  We still have 100% financing and 3% down loans available!
I believe that Cedar City has much that attracts buyers.  People love to come to Cedar City, and we are selling homes!  Our huge inventory, low rates, bargain prices and loan programs benefit buyers now.
People are moving here.  Our City officials seem to care about our community.  They work hard to keep … (1 comments)
