rentals: Why Would Anyone Buy Their Landlord's Home When They Could Buy Their Own? - 11/04/11 01:23 PM
Why Buy A Home For Your Landlord When You Could Establish Your Own Future?

Buyers in the Cedar City World of Real Estate are buying the bargains as they are in most areas in the country.  We are seeing homeowners as well as investors taking advantage of the low prices and low interest rates which can translate into low and affordable monthly payments.  Whether buyers want the joy and security of owning their homes or the future wealth in owning rentals, I believe now is the time to take advantage of the sea of opportunity in the form of gorgeous … (1 comments)

rentals: Utah Economic Outlook Getting Better - 12/22/09 08:36 PM
I receive The "Insight" Economic News of Utah and the Nation.  I read in Vol. 13  No.1 today that Utah economy is expected to continue its transition from a painful recession to modest economic growth.  That would be in line with the slow improvement in a majority of the nation's states.  I believe that is true.
Our own Iron County experienced a 12.11% rise in the average price of homes sold in 3rd quarter over 2nd and a 34.59% increase in the number of sold homes in this same period of time.  That is a great sign for the housing market … (2 comments)

rentals: Cedar City, UT, Real Estate News! Investors Return! What about your area? - 10/22/09 12:00 AM
Are investorys back in your real estate market?  To what level--many or few?  We are seeing  some investors back in our area!  That's a really great sign for a market turnaround in my opinion.  What do you think?  One of my investors just signed closing documents today on a 4-plex.  It was a great buy!  There are lots of great buys on multi-units, and I believe we will see more investors taking advantage of these great deals while both rates and interest are low at the same time!  Do you agree the time is here?

rentals: In Your Lifetime, You'll Buy a Home for Someone:(Pt.7of15 pts. for RE Success) - 11/10/08 08:51 PM
According to recent statistics, new home sales in most regions of the country stayed the same or declined; however, the west saw an increase.  Hey--that's where we live!  What a great time for buyers to pick up their own real estate bargain while rates and prices are low and affordable.  Why buy a home for your landlord?  Buy your own home and enjoy Christmas in the cozy warmth of your own dream-come-true! Home ownership brings great satisfaction.  Enjoy the incredible feeling of self-confidence that comes from owning your own home.  It might as well be now, and it might as well be for you rather than for your landlord.

rentals: Owning a Home or Rental Property is Better Than Stocks, In My Opinion - 10/18/08 08:08 PM
Where did all my money go?  I'm missing lots of stock money right now, as I am sure many are in our country.  My homes all remain standing.  It's true that they aren't worth as much as they were awhile back, but they didn't just disappear!  My stock market money is simply gone--that's where--just gone!
The real bonus to me now is that my renters keep voluntarily pumping money into my rental homes for me in return for a place to live.  It gives me a sense of confidence that all is well even though there's a financial mess going on in the world.  That's really … (2 comments)
