On an adverage June's closing where down in all three areas of Douglas & Elbert County compared with 2006. Douglas Highlands Ranch Lone Tree (DHL) faired the best with a small decrease in closing of 2.3%.  Douglas Elbert Parker (DEP) was also slightly off with a decrease of 5% compared to June of 2006 but it is still slowing an increase in year to date closing of 5% over 2006.  Douglas County West (DCW) was significantly down compared to last June.  One of the reasons is that June of 2006 had an abnormally large number of closings.
