School Zone Changes for Broward County - 03/26/09 06:28 AM
School Board members voted to change attendance zones for seven schools, including two controversial moves that will take students from Riverglades Elementary School in Parkland and from Lyons Creek Middle School in Coconut Creek. Next year, 250 students will move from Riverglades to Park Trails Elementary School in Parkland, and 98 students from Lyons Creek to Margate Middle School. The moves were among seven the board approved for the 2009-10 school year. Other affected schools are:

My kids played soccer for the first time this year. I got to know the parents well. Considering we would spend twice a week for an hour while the kids would practice and then on game day.
Soccer is now over and closing cermoinies are on Sat. Our team got together last sat for a picnic with just there team members. My husband and I took a bunch of photos during the season. He decided to make the parents a gift with all the pictures from the season. Well not all cause there were way to many, but enough.

Join us for the official end of the 2008-2009 Tamarac Youth Soccer season.  The event will take place on March 28th from 12pm to 4pm at the Tamarac Sports Complex.

The other day I told you about the Sun- Sentinel, how they were advertising about local buyers seminars.  They had place mine and another local agent.
There's is on the 24 of this month and mine is on the 28. I got a phone call this morning from someone interested in the Seminar. Originally he wanted the 24. The sooner the better, I explained to him that the one being held on the 24 was by someone else. he told me he tried to call that agent but never returned his phone call. Sun- Sentinel Looking into Buyers Seminars - 03/19/09 11:12 AM
As many of you know I have been advertising for a First Time Home Buyer's Seminar. Well the local paper has noticed this and has mentioned a few of the seminars that are coming up. As it turns out mine is there as well.

Buyers have contacted you and you have gone through pre - qualifing them. Sent them listings and have narrowed the search done to where you are now ready to head out to go looking at the homes.
This is the best times, especially when its first time home buyers! Now when you are showing them these houses do you:
 Allow the buyer to bring in beverages or food into the home?  Allow them to bring there pets in?  Leave them alone in the home? I'm sure, well I hope you said no to these questions above! It seems silly to ask … (4 comments)

OK my domain is set to expire in April through Point2Agent. I recently paid for the website for the year and now I am trying to transfer my domain over to godaddy.com.
Problem is, I am having such a hard time doing it. First I had to register, ok I knew I had to do that. Then go through of transfering over and entering my domain with them. Only to have them send and email to acknowledge that I have done so.

So my youngest is now turning the big 3. To be honest I have no idea where the last three years went. They just flew by.

OK my traffic here on the Rain is great. Activerain has wonderful google juice. I have been quite happy with my blog here.
My problem? My traffic for my website is poor, almost no traffic. Its with Point2 and now we are having to pay for the Standard Membership. I paid for the whole year.
I have my web address on all my blogs and my business cards, flyers. You name it. But I hardly see any traffic coming to it.

Homestead cheaters are being BUSTED! - 03/10/09 10:06 AM
It seems there are plenty of people who have been cheating the systems. (What's new?) It looks like people who have moved away and have been renting out there homes. It makes sense with the inventory still so high to at least cover the cost of the mortgage.
Here is the problem. Since they moved away its no longer consider a Primary Residence. So you are to report when you move away and you will be taxed differently. This money is used as our school money and for fire and police for starters. So here we are losing money because they … (5 comments)

Here we are going through the budget once again because they need to cut back. Why is it that our kids are always the first ones hit with budget cuts? Broward County school officials are considering cutting several sports at middle and high schools because of budget cuts, the Broward County School Board learned during a budget workshop Monday.Middle school volleyball, softball and swimming could be cut, while high school golf, tennis, water polo and boys' volleyball also face elimination next year. What sports the school district would eliminate would be based on participation rates.

Yesterday I was getting ready to meet with buyers in Sunrise. I dressed up in somewhat purple slacks and a purple shirt. But none of my shoes seemed to go with my outfit. so I threw on a pair of shoes and headed out to Payless before I would meet up with them.

OK I am sitting here updating my Blogs and reading everyone elses. Now knowing this, I have a very busy day ahead. My son has his opening cermonies for his little league at the Sports complex starting at 11am.
I have buyers starting at 2:30, heading in Tamarac, Sunrise and Plantation. I have a bunch of cleaning to do here at home.
