florida: Inspections, Inspections - 10/22/08 06:33 PM
So I have been working with international clients, who are looking to purchase a couple of homes in Miramar, Fl. Things have been going great. We were able to find two perfect homes. We placed two offers. Each brother was purchasing a home. They were both foreclosures, well priced to go quickly. Not on the market very long. As it turned out both homes had several offers already. Now it becomes a bidding game. One of our offers were accepted and the other was not. Back to the drawing board again for one brother, and for the other we move forward.

florida: Silver Alerts in Florida - 10/16/08 05:52 AM
Did you know that Florida has now started Silver Alerts? No, neither did I. I was driving on the Florida Turnpike yesterday when I saw the Silver alert on the main dashboard where they usually state whether or not there are accidents or where they display if there is an amber alert. So when I saw silver I was a bit confused. Today in the paper it went on to explain what a Silver Alert is. I was very happy to hear it. As you might know that a lot of people retire here. Well we also have a great deal

florida: Days on Market - 08/08/08 07:34 AM
In todays Sun-Sentinel they went on to explain the Days on Market here in Sunny South Florida. Here is how it started: Houses in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties take 156 days to sell on average, longer than anywhere else in the country. OK they started ok, but then had to go and say that it takes us longer than anyone else. Then it went on to say the number of days has gone up, but our supply has gone down: South Florida's days-on-market barometer has increased to 154 in June from 152 in May, even though the number of

florida: Tax Free Week - 05/14/08 06:36 AM
Shoppers, mark your calendars: Florida's weeklong back-to-school sales tax holiday will be Aug. 2-8 under a legislative compromise nearing final approval. Exempted from the state's 6 percent sales tax will be clothing, shoes and backpacks priced at $50 or less, as well as school supplies less than $10. This is the best time to purchase your supplies and clothing. Plus it will kick start the economy again. Its a win win situation. As many of you know this is a yearly event. I not only look forward to purchase my kids stuff for school, but take the chance

florida: Foreclosure vs. Motivated Seller's What's your take? - 04/24/08 10:35 AM
I am currently working with two buyers right now. Both called me with the intentions of only looking and buying forclosures. They were both under the assumption that it was the only way they could purchase a property in the price range they were looking in. You see one is in the price range on 150k to 160k looking in Hollywood, Fl, and the other is under 250k in Tamarac and Coral Springs, Fl. Now don't get me wrong there are a good amount of deals with foreclosures. But I believe there are more motivated sellers out there
