Do you remember last summer the M2T contest? Where there were a bunch of teams of Appertence and Mentor? Well Midori and I were part of that contest and made it to the top 3. Brian and Desiree came in first and Missy and Kim came in second.
Well a year has gone by and a lot came from that contest. Friendship, business and of course we put in place business plans, pre listing packages, listing contracts and so on.

I am in Deltona this weekend. My father leaves there and its about 30 minutes west of Daytona Beach. And if you know anything that's where Ms. Midori Miller lives!
So while I'm here in Deltona I will be heading to Daytona to meet with her. As many of you know we became really good friends since the Makeover 2 Takeover contest. Now we live about 4 hours from each other so seeing each other is not often, but I must say we probably talk about every other day.

Yesterday I was getting ready to meet with buyers in Sunrise. I dressed up in somewhat purple slacks and a purple shirt. But none of my shoes seemed to go with my outfit. so I threw on a pair of shoes and headed out to Payless before I would meet up with them.
I ran into the store and it took me all of 5 minutes to find what I was looking for. I went up to the register and the store manager was there ringing up everyone. Now I had my Realtor badge on since I was meeting with someone. … (10 comments)

As you know the other day I posted my video for my Declaration of Value for our final challenge for the makeover2takeover.
In this challenge there was two parts, the video and a Word Doc stating the same, just in words. Well here today I will post on what I sent for you all to see.

You may believe you can sell your home on your own. Did you know that there are over 180 tasks of a Realtor?
Do you really want to take on the stress of trying to sell your home? Why? If you hire and experience agent who will handle those phone calls, all the paper work, all the tasks of scheduling inspections, appraisals and so forth?
Is your concerns of hiring a Realtor because you feel they don't deserve the 6% commission? Here is a small clip that I believe you will find interesting.

Well week 8 is finally over and it was the hardest one yet. This challenge was in 2 parts. First the Word Doc then the video showing what Your Declaration of Value is! Seems easy enough, NOT!!! Many of us were having such a hard time with this one. At first it seemed easy enough and they all did at first, but when it came down to the end the juices were not flowing.
It could have been that after 7 weeks or intense challenges my brain, well all of us as a matter of fact, were FRIED!!!

Well I am so excited to be at the top with 2 other great teams. We started with 16 teams, went 7 weeks with challenge after challenge. Sleepless night, tons of coffee. My desktop is filled with different drafts of word docs that I had created, revamp, redid, etc.
Have become great friends with Midori! I can't wait till she comes down this weekend. You see we didn't get to meet when she was here in June, because I had to finish working on my challenge for that week. So seeing her on Sunday will be awesome.

Well it has been 7 weeks of intense challenges. I know that some of you have been following and others that have not. I have learned such a great deal in these last few weeks. I started this contest with not knowing what to expect. Being in the field for only 2 1/2 years I felt I didn't have what it would take to get me through this contest.
Knowing that and going every week with my normal routine with Real Estate, my family and other things and this contest making sure I have all I need to get me ahead, … (12 comments)
