The Texas State Affordable Housing Corporation(TSAHC) offers First Time Home-buyer programs to specific individuals in the state of Texas.  Currently, TSAHC administers the Professional Educators and Homes For Texas Heroes Home Loan Programs.  These programs provide a low interest rate, along with down payment and closing cost assistance(up to 3% of the mortgage loan amount) in the form of a grant.
