Many are aware that Washington State finally passed a home inspection licensing law that went into its first stage of implementation on September 1, 2009.  While the full implementation of the law does not take place until the summer of 2010, the final changes will be minimal compared to what has now taken place.

Suspect Electrical Panels and Home Inspections
 
Prior to the new Washington State Home Inspector's law and the Standards of Practice which accompanied it, home inspectors were left to themselves with what to do about "suspect electrical panels", such as Federal Pacific Stab-Loc panels.  If you are a Realtor it is likely that you have run into home inspector's who mentioned FP panels and others in their home inspection reports.
