The rally helped limit the annual decline in activity to 13%. A total of 39 homes were sold in 2007, compared to 45 in 2006.

While closings were down, existing resale inventory also reduced to 32 homes, plus 7 with accepted offers. This still favors buyers, so sellers need to price competitively and market aggressively in order to generate showings and attract offers.
