 Corps Establishes Marina Flotation Policy
The Army Corps of Engineers announced that it has established a policy regarding flotation material for marina and resort boat docks on its waters. Little Rock District lakes with commercial marinas or resort docks that fall under the policy include area lakes Table Rock, Beaver, and Bull Shoals. The district will require a gradual transition to encapsulated material to promote “more environmentally friendly, aesthetically appealing, and safe” facilities for the public.
