This is the day for the new Calif Acknowledgment verbiage to begin - 12/28/07 12:23 AM
Well here is the day it all changes for us in Calif.
All loans signed in CA from today and  forward (12/27/2007) will have to have the new Acknowledgement verbiage to have a Deed Of Trust record. Any loan signed today will record in Jan 2008.

The real problem for a CA Notary is the perjury penalty for 2008.
 The removal of "personally appeared" is in my opinion  no big deal because we could always line through it.The problem in my opinion is the wording added for 2008 underneath our ACK verbiage is:I certify under PENALTY OF PERJURY … (1 comments)

A business that doesn't have enough marketing ability/sense to have a website in the year 2008 is considered to be a non professional.

It's a good idea to let the companies that hire you know your work schedule through any holiday period or weekends for the 3 day holidays.
Of course the best holiday schedule is to be always available  but that is not possible for all Notar/Loan-Signers.

They has been new clarifications for California Notaries starting Jan. 2008.
