The Marsh, the Creek, the Swamp, The Inlet, whatever you call it ....call it peaceful.  When I first moved to this area I looked at a home on the marsh.I remember saying, why on earth would anyone want to live near the creek? Have you ever thought about living along the coast?
How about somewhere where there is a lot of sunshine and warmth?
Lower taxes?
and don't forget the palm trees!
You do not need to bring a snow shovel.
Average annual temperature of 64 degrees!
and water temperatures range from 50 degrees in January to 83 degrees in August!

So much to do ... So little time!

relocation: Pinch me! I now live in Pawleys Island SC!! - 03/14/08 09:11 PM
 

Everyday is a perfect day here at the beach!  I wake up in the morning and have to pinch myself to realize I am finally here in South Carolina and in Pawleys Island, the best part of the coastline in my opinion!  I do not miss the snowy and icy, winters of the great state of Massachusetts.  I still love to visit there, but I have found my little bit of heaven here in Pawleys Island. SC.
My mother was born and raised in NC and as children we visited every chance we could.
