Good morning.
I was just researching some numbers and thought I would share:
Gold Canyon only, for homes under 500K, there are 262 for sale and the average days on market are 183. We have over 400 for sale in Gold Canyon alone.
In the last month in Gold Canyon we have sold 19 homes only, ranging in price from $195,000-$1,550,000
Our team feels like things are picking up and are very happy for that.

Recently in Gold Canyon the Pinal County Sheriff's Office had a trial 30-day period for speeders monitered by a photo radar van. The trial period is over and people caught speeding at 11miles an hour over will be receiving fines, depending on speed of course. So, start slowing down people :)

While reading teh Apache Junction Gold Canyon News, right on the front page, so it was very hard to miss, is a sketch of a possible suspect. Ths man is accused of assaulted a 12 year old girl. He was driving a black Ford truck and is described to be short, caucasian and has light brown hair. He was wearing sunglasses, jeans and tennis shoes at the time of the attack. This happened in Pinal County in Florence. Please be advised and call 520-866-5101 with any information.

The Apache Junction Fire District, in their quest to find a home for a second fire station Gold Canyon, was told by the residents of Kings Ranch Estates they did not want them there. This is the second time the Apache Junction Fire District was told in the last 3-4 months they were not welcome in northern Gold Canyon neighborhoods.

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office will soon be utilizing photo radar in the Gold Canyon and other areas of Pinal County. Although Gold Canyon will be the pilot location of this program, it is expected to be utilized in Apache Junction and Queen Creek to identify locations where speeding vehicles are a problem. The units are going to be mobile and the first location will be on Don Donnelly Drive in Gold Canyon.
