Patience
Patience is not one of my virtues! I even have a little sign in my office I bought years ago that says, God grant me patience, and I want it right now!  I've often said my cautious, analytical, phlegmatic husband was put in my life to teach me patience. He is actually a wonderful model of it as well as being the polar opposite of my energetic, speedy, and sometimes impulsive nature.  Ah, it is so true about how we are attracted in a mate to that which we are missing and then once the attraction (or is it lust?) … (7 comments)

Knowing what you do best and how to do that more so people connect with your passion is a great way to attract clients to you instead of randomly pursuing new business.
 
Here are a couple of questions that will help you identify how to use this tip to be more productive: 
What do you do that is the core reason that you are in this business and is most appreciated by your clients? What do you need to stop doing to give more room to your passion?

PEAK PERFORMANCE:  The story of Lance Armstrong  has been an amazing one. How can you not be impressed with the challenges he's overcome? His mental attitude and innate competitiveness present an inspiring example.
There is documentation of how his body is somewhat of an anomaly: being able to efficiently process fuel, in the muscles, 3-5% more efficiently than the pro riding next to him and 8% better than the average fit man allows him to perform better on the same amount of carbs.  It makes me wonder about the chicken and the egg dilemma: which came first?
