  In other parts of the country February is the dead of winter but here in Ocala spring is just around the corner.   First I will recap January. It seemed warmer than normal but we did have a hard frost that burned several shrubs that I pruned too late and didn't harden off in time.   Winter in Ocala is basically a series of cold fronts.
