How to buy an Ocala Foreclosure home - 10/28/08 02:01 PM
Buying a Foreclosure home in Ocala is a little different than doing a traditional sale. Once a buyer has found a great deal on a foreclosure you write an offer using one of the forms used by Florida Realtors. This offer then goes to the bank. Banks can and will accept multiple offers and will choose the best offer and the one most likely to be able to complete the transaction. Not all foreclosed homes will get multiple offers but some do. If your offer is accepted, the bank sends it's own contract which can be either an acceptance or

Ocala Foreclosed homes. Sold As Is - 10/24/08 09:26 AM
Unlike most traditional sales, foreclosed homes are sold AS IS with the right to inspect. The buyer can have a home inspection, at the buyers expense, within a specified period of time and if the inspection isn't to the buyers satisfaction, they may withdraw from the transaction. Foreclosures are usually presented with the bare minimum of information and the one mandatory image which is required by the Ocala Marion county MLS. Foreclosures are sold by a few listing agents who specialize in these types of distressed properties. Their marketing strategy is simple, price the foreclosed home cheap and it will sell quick and to tell you the truth it works. I realize that is little consolation to

Do you look forward to winter? - 10/13/08 09:22 AM
Here in Ocala Florida we really do look forward to winter. Today is October 13, the beginning of the dry season. Hurricane season ends in late October and the dry season begins about the same time. The dry season will last until mid May with low humidity and not much rain. Winter in Ocala means that it will be in the high 60's to mid 70's during the day and in the 40's or 50's at night. We occasionally get a light frost. If you don't look forward to winter you should just pick up and move to Ocala.
