Clay Buchholz scattered five hits and no walks over 6 2/3 scoreless innings in his sixth consecutive quality start. David Ortiz homered and drove in three runs, Victor Martinez and Dustin Pedroia extended their hit streaks to 23 and 16 games, respectively, and the Sox cut their magic number to three. The Boston Red Sox head to New York to face the Yankees in a classic fall battle. It is going to be a great weekend for baseball fans at the New Yankee stadium.

The Westwood Mass. board of health is pleased to announce that the Annual Flu Clinic for seasonal flu will be held on Saturday September 26th at the Westwood High School gymnasium from 9:00am through 12 noon. Seasonal flu vaccines will be administered to Westwood Residents in the following high risk groups:    50 years of age and older, 18-49 years of age with an underlying medical condition, health care workers, pregnant women and caretakers of children less than six months old. Please note that the Board of Health will not be administering the H1N1 vaccine at this clinic.
