The ING Foundation has once again named Louisville, Kentucky as a top city for young people.  The city was selected for the fifth time for initiatives with Louisville-Jefferson County Metro Government, Jefferson County Public Schools, Metro United Way, and local and nonprofit businesses.  These establishments have fostered growth in Louisville’s youth by supporting reading, college preparation, and volunteering.  There are 55,000 degree programs in the area and the goal is to have 40,000 bachelor’s degrees and 15,000 associate’s degrees attained by 2020.
