I wanted to shine a little light on an amazing program that does not get much promotion, the FHA Good Neighbor Next Door home loan.  This is a program to help borrowers who are employed in Law Enforcement, pre K through 12thgrade Teachers, (Public or Private Schools) Firefighters and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT's).
The highlights of the program are as follows:

fha: Realtors - Your Buyers can use a non-occupying co-borrower! - 08/06/07 07:02 PM
FHA will allow a non-occupying borrower to assist your home buyer in getting into their home.  The co-borrower must be family and must use fully documented income, sorry nothing stated.
This can be extremely advantageous to those younger borrowers who have the income but not the established credit necessary to purchase their first home.  A parent, uncle, brother or sister with a higher score, or higher income, can be used to help strengthen the loan and get your buyer approved.
