blog: Epiphany: Hire A Real Estate Blogger To Sell Your Home - 01/25/12 08:42 AM
If you want to hire the best company to help you sell a home, start by selecting a company that has a prominent real estate blog. The lessons learned while writing this real estate blog has taught me so much about what consumers are doing every day on the internet. I have written a daily real estate blog since 2007, and by my count, the number of real estate blog posts that I have written is right around 1,450. But for this version of Tallahassee Real Estate Blog, today's article represents number 1,000. Long time readers of the Tallahassee Real Estate

blog: The Best Tip You Will Receive For Your Blog This Year - 08/13/11 07:41 PM
The headline might seem sensational, but once you see this tip, you will realize that it will help you broaden your blogging horizons far more than any other idea that you will receive this year. Or least that has been the case for me. So, what is this "hot tip?" Well, it's about a website that promotes things that people will do for you for a measley $5 (get those thoughts out of your head :). The site is called Fiverr, and it is a buy and sell site where you can read tons of ads of things people will do

blog: WHAT? DO YOU MEAN THAT THERE IS PLAGIARISM COMMITTED BY ACTIVERAIN MEMBERS?? I'M SHOCKED - - SHOCKED! - 01/23/11 12:45 PM
Lenn shares with us the common occurrence of plagiarism on Active Rain. My own blog at manausa.com is scraped as often as 25 times each day and I have no clue how to stop it. I think AR should put a button on the bottom of each post for readers to claim plagiarism when they find it. Via Lenn Harley, Real Estate Broker, Virginia & Maryland (Lenn Harley, Homefinders.com, MD & VA Homes and Real Estate): FOUR ARTICLES COPIED AND POSTED ON ACTIVERAIN??? Jeff Belonger enters the sordid world of content thieves, copyright, plagiarism, pick your ethical conundrum. HA!

blog: Real Estate Blog Reader Comment Spurs Newspaper To Report - 01/15/10 08:33 AM
Did you happen to catch this morning’s Tallahassee Democrat article on the controversy that is finally brewing in downtown Tallahassee? You might recall that I wrote a blog in early December about a bogus compensation plan that Tallahassee City Commissioners awarded themselves (and deemed legal by OUR city attorney who also received the 60%+ raise). This whole issue was brought to light because Erwin Jackson wouldn’t let it go. He asked the City Commission to bring in outside people to review the legality of the entire ordeal. The City Commission waived him off, citing the fact that it had already

Anybody who has been following the Tallahassee Real Estate Blog for any amount of time knows that I have a habit of getting a bit too analytical at times. Well, that habit does not just apply to the Tallahassee real estate market, it also applies to this real estate blog. I have tracked the number of readers coming to the Tallahassee Real Estate Blog pretty much since the very first post. Perhaps the earliest surprise that I found was that many of our visitors were from outside of the Tallahassee real estate market. 153 Countries Read The Tallahassee Real Estate

blog: Tallahassee, FL: Year End Real Estate Reports With Color Graphs - 01/31/09 04:51 PM
The month of December saw a continuation of the slower sales for homes in the Tallahassee real estate market. Unit sales were very low for December, thus registering our 30th straight year-over-year drop (December 2008 vs. December 2007). December is usually an average month because there are many buyers who want to get in their homes before the end of the year in order to take advantage of the Florida Homestead Tax savings. Unfortunately, this was not the case in 2008. Nor were new contracts as robust as we were hoping, leading me to expect that January will also be

blog: How To Use Blog Subscriptions To Deliver Great Information To Your Inbox - 12/13/08 12:18 PM
Have you ever noticed that anytime you read a blog, there is a Subscription Button that encourages you to subscribe to it? Well, I have been questioned about this a few times and thought I’d write a post about how and why you should subscribe to the Tallahassee Real Estate Blog. Most people have not become comfortable with the subscription process and purpose, so this will be a simple “how and why” article to hopefully move you forward to being better organized in your reading and researching on the internet. Blog Subscriptions Are Just Like Old Fashioned Magazine Subscriptions Before
