This is a great little hackthat uses Google's superb mapping application to help record distances traveled during a running or walking workout. Simpler still, if there is a route you usually take to walk the dog and you've always wondered how far you travel each night, you can map it out. (3 comments)

I ran across this item yesterday. The project is an offshoot of the Columbus Leadership program which is a who's who in emerging City-wide leaders. I'm all for increasing the density in the urban areas in and around downtown and I'm happy to promote anyone trying to better the situation. Surprisingly, (0 comments)
