I was going to embed the next video in the series but I felt I needed to address how Oklahoma City REALTORS® are avoding foreclosures based on outdated information about "horror stories" about short sales taking one year or more to close if at all. This video will address why short sales are processing much faster than ever before anfd how an Oklahoma City homebuyer would benefit for buying under an apprasial price. I will also talk about what is a real horror story and that has to do with untrained agents trying to list and close short sales.

This is the beginning of a short sale information series to help both distressed homeowners in the Oklahoma City area as well as buyers to understand the process better. Many horror stories are still in the media, but often this anecdotal information is outdated. The short sale landscape is changing rapidly with new programs being offered like HAFA, and lenders finally catching up with their our business plans, increased infrastructure, and more personnel to handle the workload.
