cancer: My cancer fight is over. Not Really.

I was about to blog about a new low cost investment opportunity in Oklahoma real estate, but something important happened. I went to Houston Sunday for my Monday PET scan at M.D. Anderson. Six weeks earlier I was there to get my CT scan to see how the radiation therapy worked. At that time they prepared me for surgery in six weeks, saying that one of the cancerous nodes in my neck did not look like it was shrinking. Is it possible to be angry at a lymph node? Yes! With cancer you feel like an alien life force has entered your body, (4 comments)
cancer: An Oklahoma City Realtor looks back at 2008

I knew that 2008 was going tobe a different year but in January I didn't realize just how much change was coming. I started out an Inman News Real Estate Connect in New York in January representing the MLS Board of Oklahoma City. The day I spent in the blogosphere showed me what Web 2.0 was all about with gaining my voice back as a Realtor with my blog, and joining groups on the social network sites. In February and April I traveled to Florida to finishmy last two courses for my CCIM Commercial Real Estate designation to move my investment (0 comments)
cancer: MD Anderson:Where everybody knows your name

After being diagnosed with cancer in August after a surgery in Oklahoma City, I just finished 30 radiation treatments after another surgery at MD Anderson In Houston. What I mean by the title of this blog is that this hospital is more than the best cancer doctors and equipment in the world. When I come to free valet parking every day for radiation, the valets call me by name. When I check into treatment or my radiation consult, the secretary calls me by name. This the way that this hospital makes you a person and not a number. I do have a number (1 comments)
