Here in Boca Raton, Florida people are starting to receive their tax notices giving them an idea of what to expect as the taxes will become due soon.  When I opened mine up I was pleasantly surprised to see that they went down about $1200.  Some people are finding out that they have gone up.  If you feel that your taxes are not accurate make sure to contact the correct taxing authority regarding your tax bill.  The deadline to file a dispute is September 15, 2009.

Properties are selling across Palm Beach County, Florida with some properties having multiple offers on them. Low prices, lots of inventory and great interest rates are the driving force. Foreclosures continue to move fast but other properties are moving as well as sellers are adjusting their prices to move their properties.  Below are the numbers for the last 30 days.

Inventory is decreasing and properties are changing hands every day.

Realtors are seeing alot of activity across all price ranges in Boca Raton, Florida.  Buyers are in town armed with pre approval letters or all cash and are really serious about buying.  Many properties are seeing multiple offers.  Some properties are still getting very low offers but the majority of the buyers out there right now are much more serious than in the past.

A property manager may be a good idea for your rental property if you live in another state and don't want many of the headaches that go along with being a landlord.  The owners that use property managers usually have multiple properties but some with as few as one do use their services.  They can maintain the property, get it cleaned before new tenants arrive and collect your rents.  These services do come at a price and you will have to decide how much of that monthly rent is worth giving up.

Pending Home Sales Rise Across The Country - 08/05/09 12:24 PM
Pending home sales Nationally were up in June for the 5th month in a row.  The last time this occurred was in 2003.  A great sign indicating things are starting to move in the right direction.  Prices are down and inventory is disappearing and some areas are seeing some serious price stabilization. Buyers continue to take advantage of low interest rates, many homes to choose from and great Government incentives. Any serious buyer would have to be in the market at this time.
