Tax Credit Ends Today - 04/30/10 11:05 AM
The tax credit certainly gave the market a boost and today is the last day to make sure your contract is executed.  For the buyers who are close to making a deal today is the day to get it done.
Hopefully more programs will be introduced in the near future to further stimulate the real estate market.

GMAC Foreclosure Win Reversed - 04/26/10 06:06 PM
GMAC recently had one of their foreclosure wins reversed due to the fact that some of their legal papers were faulty.  I guess sometimes the banks are just looking for quick decisions due to the fact that they have so many files to deal with. 
Another great reason to consult with an attorney to make sure your rights are protected. Unfortunately many people getting foreclosed on have no funds for an attorney but this is something that should be dealt with by a professional.

Tax Credit Ends in 8 Days! - 04/22/10 11:58 AM
The end of the tax credit is in sight and it will be interesting to see just how much the buyer activity drops when it ends.  I think it will be alot as many buyers I am talking with, especially in the under $300,000 market are really trying hard to buy just because of the credit.  I am sure many will continue with their search but I think the sellers in this price range will stop seeing as many multiple offers.  Time will tell.

One of the best things about Boca Raton, Florida is the fact that the Gulf Stream comes so close to our shores.  This makes enjoying the water so much better above and below the surface.  Just take a stroll down to the beach and you will be amazed how many tropical fish you see just off the beach around the rocks and a short boat ride gets you out on the reef to dive or fish.  Another great reason to live in Boca Raton, Florida year round.

Time Is Running Out To Make $8,000! - 04/14/10 07:45 AM
Anyone now in the process of looking to buy a property should start making a decision and secure their property as time to take advantage of the tax credit is coming to an end.  This will be the easiest $8,000  you will ever make so don't let indecision paralyze you.
To qualify for the credit you have to have a signed contract by April 30, 2010 and you have to close by June 30, 2010.

Today is the election for Congressional District 19 to replace Representative Robert Wexler who stepped down in January.  The new candidate elected today will serve a little over 8 months and will be up for re-election in the fall.  Get out there and cast your vote. The polls are open from 7am to 7pm.

Eden Condominium in Boca Raton, Florida - 04/07/10 09:13 AM
We are all familiar with the Eden Condominium that has been sitting half finished for a long time. Well the good news is that it is now being completed and turned into a luxury rental property.  All of the people who originally bought apartments there have been compensated so they can finally move on with their lives.  Things started to move with this problem project as soon as the Florida Attorney General got involved.

Boca Raton, Florida End of Season - 04/02/10 07:33 AM
Boca Raton, Florida is packed with people enjoying their time off for the holidays and spring break. The beaches will be packed this weekend as well as the restaurants and other popular activities. 
The City will start to change next week as the winter residents will continue to return to their summer homes but I expect many people to continue to search for their dream properties and take advantage of the great buyer's market.  My busiest months are always June and July as many buyers love to buy during these months.  Have a great holiday weekend.
