Maintaining Your Home – Where’s the love? - 04/18/09 07:01 PM
I recently wrote a couple posts on maintaining your home and keeping good records, in preparation for the day you’ll sell that home. Yet I realize most of us don’t live our lives always getting ready to leave. At least I hope not!So, we easily lose the motivation to do the un-fun, time-consuming tasks. Then, I remembered one of those childhood moments that became burned in my brain, and has stuck with me as a life lesson. Our next-door neighbors had three kids close in age to my brothers and I. But there’s a lesson I learned from my husband (yes, it can happen!). He keeps every record of the work done on our cars – every oil change and tire rotation (0 comments)
Are real estate agents as good as professional stagers? - 04/06/09 03:17 PM
I thought I was pretty good at giving tips and suggestions for making your rooms as appealing as possible. I can almost always find easy, inexpensive changes and fixes to help a house shine. But today I found out that a professional is even better.I was holding an open house in one of Arvada, Colorado's premier neighborhoods - Wyndham Park - and a lovely young lady came by, a home stager who said she looks at houses for fun. Now, this house is just lovely. I’ve had a busy day, and every visitor loved the floor plan, paint colors, multitude of (1 comments)
