Scrumptious Ice Cream and Candy Shop
We visited Scrumptious on a recent Saturday, and it was a busy spot. Nice to see all the people stopping by, getting a treat.
I've heard about this new ice cream shop, and if that's all it was it would be worth a visit. The ice cream is all made on the premises.
But the store is also well-stocked with old time favorite candies and sodas.

Tennyson Park in Arvada Colorado has a lot of unique features to offer. Homes in Tennyson Park are almost new, yet established enough to have full-sized trees lining the streets and shading the grassy yards.
Most of Arvada's newer neighborhoods are on the more-expensive western side. But in Tennyson Park, you can get more newer house for the money. Plus, if you will need to get on I-25 to head to Denver, Fort Collins, or you'll be at the airport more than a couple of times a year, this is a better location than neighborhoods farther west.

Start with horse-drawn carriage rides through historic Olde Town Arvada Friday nights Nov. 27 through December 18. $10 per ride, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. One of the most popular merchants of Olde Town Arvada is the candlestick maker's shop, Nature's Gift Candleworks and Studio
The sign in front of the store says, "Come in for the smell of it." And the 'smell of it' is quite a treat!
The candles are hand-poured on site, with custom scents and combinations of flowers and herbs peeking through the wax. They will burn down the middle, so the herbs and flowers remain intact. Once it's burned down, you can place a tea light in the hollow, and continue to enjoy the beauty of the botanicals.

I hear that question a lot. After all, everyone's interested in real estate. But when someone says, "What's that house selling for?", I know what they mean to ask is, "How much are they asking for that house?" That's an easy question to answer.But what the house will sell for is often a very different thing.Just this morning, I studied the 'Active' houses and the 'Sold' houses in a neighborhood here in Arvada.
