One of the cool things about living between Denver and Boulder is that Celestial Seasonings is just a short drive away. They have free tours, and I've written about Celestial Seasoning's free tour before. One of the highlights is the opportunity to go into the peppermint room.
The peppermint scent is so strong, they have to keep the huge door tightly shut or it would invade all the other tea leaves. But during the tour they let whoever wants to, to stand in there while they talk about peppermint tea. Some can't even go in, some only for a minute. Me, … (7 comments)

Last week, my friend Dee and I were thinking about doing something just for fun. Preferably something easy and cheap. So we kicked around ideas - what would we do if we were tourists visiting here?  What have we wanted to do and just not gotten around to?  She suggested the Celestial Seasonings Tour - and it met all the criteria, so off we went.
