Property listing data stolen, misused in Pace and Gulf Breeze Criminals can create fake rentals, home sales, etc. Realtor.com had 385M 'scrape' attempts in Oct., down to 75M in Feb. Read more. Realtor.com recently announced several efforts it took to prevent the scraping and misuse of listing data on Realtor.com. The listing site, owned by the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), says it detected 385 million scraping attempts in October 2011 but, thanks to better security actions, only 75 million attempts in February 2012.
