60 arrested in Houston this morning for Mortgage Fraud - Coming to a City Near You! - 06/19/08 01:28 PM
Apparently, the Deprtment of Justice, along with the IRS, Secret Service, and FBI did a sweep this morning arresting 60 people in Houston for Mortgage Fraud. They also made arrests in Chicago, Miami, and some other regions. Since March they have arrested well over 400+ people under Operation "Malicious Mortgage". In the near future they will continue to sweep the metro areas accross the country, arresting those who participated in mortgage fruad over the last few years.

Pricing a home low enough to draw "on-the-fence" buyers out of the woodwork - 06/16/08 10:12 AM
We have heard it over and over again about overpricing a home will result in an unsold home, taking a long time to sell, and reducing the price, over and over again. every article I have read mentions "price reductions" as a necessary solution. And that sellers need to be priced somewhere in the lower end of the majority of comparable homes. This is all common sense. But what results would we have if sellers were to list their homes at a price low enough that it just could not be ignored? For the majority of the country, it is a buyer's market, and these
