The $8,000.00 First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit program expiring on November 30, 2000. For the past several months, there were many first time home buyers took advantage of the program, and rushed into buying a home to qualify for the $8,000.00 tax credit program, which helped to sell large quantity number of homes.

On September 14, 2009, FHA announced,
"Section 203.37a(b)(2) of the FHA regulations, 24 CFR, is hereby waived for a period of one year, September 14, 2009 through September 13, 2010, with regard to sales of previously foreclosed or abaandoned properties acquired and resold for profit and non-profit entities using fundings from the performing under agreements with state and local government agencies under NSP program."

The $8,000.00 First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit program helped to sell very large quantity number of homes below $500,000.00 price range. First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit will expire on November 30, 2009. It is hard to know, if the home sales valume will continue, once the First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit expire. We will know that at the beginning of 2010.
