mayans: The May Solar Eclipse: a Follow up - 05/21/12 04:40 PM

I hope most of us in the western half of the US got to see a good eclipse, depending on where you were.  These things happen so rarely here in the LA area the they should have made it a public holiday.  Oh well wishfull thinking.  Anyway I got to share the view withe some patrons at a nearby restaurant and for a moment I fely like a celebrity because I had this  8" mylar solar filter that everyone could see it comfortably.

Ok this is going to be one of the most unusual posts on this site but I want to talk about 2 pices of real estate that are in fact so large, I am not sure if you could do a CMA on them?  (What is the going price for Hydrogen anyway?) There is a big mass of hydrogen being fused into helium about 93 million miles away that is held together by nothing more than gravity.  Then, there is this big chunck of rock about 2 days journey from here that as humble as it is ,gives use tides, etc … (1 comments)
