Would You Call Him A Real Hustler Or An Unethical Licensed RE Con Man?
What about the RE agent who hustles a client into a listing by telling him he has a buyer for his home that's willing to pay whatever he's asking just to get a listing and then brings him an offer below that number?
An agent shows up on my doorstep one Saturday morning (before I became a Realtor) and asks me if I'm interested in selling my home because he has a buyer who likes it and is willing to pay my price. So I say fine … (3 comments)

Since When Should Retirement Be An ENTITLEMENT?

I recently read a Boo Hoo Hoo sob story about a 63 year old man who was complaining of having to go back to work after 10 blissful years of diamond level retirement. I got more sick to my stomach by the sentence as I read his rant about how bad a hit he took in the stock marked and how his government, retirement accounts and former employer had let him down after his 30 years of servitude and how he must now have go back to work to support himself and his … (17 comments)

The Perils & Pitfalls of Mobile & Manufactured Homes. Things You May Not Know As A RE Agent - 08/12/10 12:23 PM
The Perils & Pitfalls of Mobile & Manufactured Homes. Things You May Not Know As A RE Agent.                                                                                          I have to credit

                                                                                    for inspiring this post.

By golly Brad I think you've mustered fodder and inspiration for another post. Not that it will become a coveted feature but at least I'll get a lot off my chest.
This is in response to your: http://activerain.com/blogsview/1780154/the-activerain-featured-blog-post
I really do think it's the quality of what one writes and not the quantity of posts they contribute. I've written 118 posts including this one and have only been featured 7 times (Should I be discouraged about a 6 percent feature ratio? I think not). I started to get a little discouraged for a time but then I … (3 comments)

Connected At The Hip

UNIVERSITY OF SAN DIEGO
All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you Active Rain. And a special thanks to two very warm and friendly Young ladies Lauren (I assume that's the correct spelling because that's how we spell our youngest Granddaughter's name) and Kerrie (also the name of our #2 of three daughters). These two very special young ladies helped make my first, but definitely not my last, AR event a very fun and fulling experience.
