mobile home lenders: If you're not a Rainmaker you may as well not even be a AR member. - 05/06/12 10:57 AM
If you're not a Rainmaker you may as well not even be a AR member. This post was inspired by Loreens Yeo's recent post "Does it really cost $40?" Janis Arendsen, owner of MH Processing INC. A division of ON THE LEVEL General Contractors INC. A California based Lender Relations company that offers foundation installation, retrofitting and repair, engineered certifications and affidavits of affixture for the Manufactured Housing Industry Nationwide. Active Rain has no doubt been one of the most effective tools our company has had the opportunity to benefit from. Albeit I'm not an ambassador, a

mobile home lenders: We Do Requrire A Pre-Registration Form - 07/23/10 11:53 AM
We Do Requrire A Pre-Registration Form This is in response to Julie's recent post on: To force registration or not to force registration, that is the question! Julia Odom, Chattanooga Real Estate Chattanooga, TN Hi Julie, Your recent post inspired me to contribute a post on this same subject. We do require a registration form inasmuch as we are charged for every click via "pay-per-click" so we like seeing who's hitting on us. In fact we were taken aback to find that one of our not so nice competitors had actually vandalized our website by hitting on the

mobile home lenders: TAYLOR, BEAN & WHITAKER MORTGAGE CORP Suspended By FHA For Allegations of Loan Fraud. Could This Cripple The Availability of Funding For Manufactured Home Lending? - 08/09/09 01:24 PM
With the advent of the suspension of TB&W from FHA fewer options remain for land home loan programs for mobile homes/manufactured homes. TB&W ranked third nationwide among FHA lenders was perhaps the largest "Mortgage Broker" loan source in the United States specializing in land/home mobile home and manufactured home conventional 30 year fully amortized loan packages. This leaves Wells Fargo and B of A who deal directly with homeowners as the two major players in the mobile/manufactured home lending arena which unfortunately leaves thousands of small independent lenders with very few options which can and most likely will cripple

mobile home lenders: REVERSE MORTGAGES FOR THE MANUFACTURED HOMEOWNER - 05/03/09 12:26 PM
With the increasing popularity of the Reverse Mortgage loan product for those homeowners 62 and older, loan processors are dealing more and more with manufactured homes in their portfolios. Many seniors have chosen the manufactured home communities as a retirement refuge and the community and recreational atmosphere lend itself well to word-of-mouth referrals and the spreading the news about FHA and Reverse Mortgage Loans benefits. However, the manufactured home loan presents a new set of criteria for the loan officer and loan processor as well as the borrower so be prepared ahead of time. Certain criteria are absolutes: 1. The manufactured

mobile home lenders: SCAMS THE RE INDUSTRY NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT: The truth about Manufactured Home engineered certification, affidavit of fixture, foundation installation, repair and retrofiting. - 04/28/09 10:54 AM
Just wanted to add a slice of humor to a very mundane and boring topic albeit probably the most important aspect of your manufactured home. Let this serve as a reminder that you, the manufactured home owner, really need to be careful about who you let work under your home. Don't fall for the many, engineered certification, affidavit of fixture, re-leveling, foundation installation, retrofit and repair, earthquake bracing, hurricane and tornado tiedown scams etc. There's literally tons of them lurking about trying to seperate you from your hard earned doe. Unfortunately there are scams in every industry and the Manufactured Housing Industry is no exception. The bad

mobile home lenders: FHA & VA HUD loans for Manufactured Homes - 04/25/09 06:58 PM
Sat, Apr 25, 2009 As a Manufactured Home Contractor, Dealer, Developer and Realtor specializing in manufactured homes on resident-owned land, I have found that the most frustrating aspect in the marketplace is the loan industry. Loans and sales go hand in hand with the vibrancy of the real estate industry. No loans, no sales-it's that simple. The main problem is the inability of lenders to understand the manufactured home product in general. Most lenders roll their eyes at the thought of dealing with a Manufactured Home loan: the loan officers don't think they'll make a big enough commission for the amount of work they
