It seems that buyer's are not interested in short sale listed property because they feel it takes too long or is not worth the effort.  This all comes from the agent/broker that represents them.  There are great deals out there and buyers can create their own "bottom."  If not, REO's will be the bottom!  With a bit of homework and a good call to the listing agent to find out and what stage their seller is in, will make for a smooth transaction and a great deal for your buyer(s).
