The residential real estate markets of Bath Maine saw 3 transactions take place at a median sold price of 176K after sitting on the market for 28 days in January 2011 . Given this extremely small sample size the only real trend one can discern is that housing activity in this mid coastal maine market is extremely slow! Thanks for reading about Bath Maine home sales. The median sales price was significantly down compared with a year prior as well as a month prior, but this is more a result of the smaller sample size and not real price depreciation. Portland Maine Market Report - Feb 2011 - 02/22/11 06:59 AM
Greetings from the great and frigid state of Maine! For the month ending January 2011.. the housing market in Portland saw a total of 35 residential real estate transactions transpire which all things considered was pretty good given it snowed approximately 25% of the time! What market segments continue to be the best? Definitely real estate in the East End as well as downtown Portland Maine condos. It seems baby boomers want accessibility coupled with intown living.. go figure :) Median prices continue to stabilize and as Portland continues to make national headlines as a great place to live and a (1 comments)
Recently Released Housing statistics for Maine - 02/02/11 09:31 AM
As I type.. 20 plus inches of snow are falling outside my office window! Selling real estate in Maine during the winter is challenging.. this time around even more so! Precipitation/frigid temps/ice/snow... it physically has been impossible to show homes about 25% of the time lately.. this hurts the bottom line :) Despite all this the real estate markets in Portland Maine seem to be humming along.. steadily and surely. Volume is low, but prices are stable and with so much recent positive public press as of late I am optimistic that 2011 will prove to be a very strong year (0 comments)
