referrals: This week at BNI's GAteway Chapter - 04/22/08 02:10 PM
It has launched. The Gateway Chapter of Business Network Internation launched it web site. Please take a little time to check out the site and learn about our members.

referrals: This week in BNI - 11/27/07 03:23 PM
 I have been a member of the Gateway Chapter of Business Network International for over 12 years now. This year we set a record and have passed over $568,000 in referrals among chapter members. Fortunatrely for me BNI has contrinued to provide me with a steady stream of referred business. This while many other loan officers are suffering.

referrals: Who is your favorite loan officer and why do you refer them? - 03/17/07 05:07 PM
I speak with many loan officers who complain that they are having trouble getting referrals from real estate agents. I have been telling them that they may not have any to give and that they should seek to build a relationship with them.
I tell them a good work ethic, consistent visits and performance, a positive attitude are all things that will help them earn a referral. I also ask them what they see in people that they refer. What qualities are they seeking?

referrals: Chamber of Commerce 101 - 12/02/06 02:15 PM
I just read Nima's post that he had joined the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce. Good job. It is something all of us should be doing. I am a member of 4 chambers and have been for 10 years. I do this because I am the only residential loan officer there. There is more busness at the chamber for mortgage professionals than there is in most real estate offices.
How do you take full advantage of your membership? Joining is just the beginning. You will need to attend the events. My wife is a great chef, so the idea of eating dry prime … (5 comments)
