Broward School CLosings on Election Day - 10/31/08 08:59 AM
Broward schools will be closed on November 4 due to election day. One of the main issues is having strangers walking onto campus at any school, and the parking problem that most schools already face. Having schools closed provides more people to work at the polls such as teachers and some students.
The agreement to have schools closed on this day was worked out between the Broward School District and Supervisor of elections Brenda Snipes, who is a retired administrator.
So make sure to go out and vote early or on November 4. Your vote counts!!
