Are You Tired Of Double Spaces In Your Blog??????
I put this little tip in a blog I wrote yesterday ...... http://activerain.com/blogsview/111702/Computer-Tips-Tricks-Other and of all of the cool things that were in it this tip got the most response.  Since it generated so much activity I thought I should make it it's own blog so that it gets more exposure to the AR community!
To avoid the double space when you hit "Enter" while typing your blog when you really just want a single space, press "SHIFT+ENTER" at the same time and you will get that elusive single space.

Too often, firefighters hear people say, "it was just a few seconds." Unfortunately, just a few seconds is all it takes for a child to drown. Drowning is the leading cause of death in Arizona for children under the age of five. Most of these children drown in their own backyard swimming pool, but others drown in buckets, bathtubs, toilets, dog water bowls, canals and ponds. Alaska Airlines Flight Status - 05/25/07 02:22 PM
So my cousin is coming into town today on Alaska Airlines and I just went to www.AlaskaAir.com to check to see if his flight was on time or not.  I came across a really cool feature on their site that I had never seen before.  You can click on the flight's arrival time and see a real time map of where the plane is along with its speed and altitude. 
I know this has nothing to do with Real Estate, but I thought it was kind cool!

Arizona Real Estate License Renewal Goes From 2 Years to 4 Years - 05/23/07 04:40 PM
4-Year License Renewal
Great news!!  Senate Bill 1349 was passed by the House and Senate last week, and was signed into law by Governor Janet Napolitano on May 1, 2007.  The 4-year License Renewal and the pairing of the Designated Broker and Entity licenses will take effect July 1, 2007.  Any Licensee who renews after July 1 will receive a 4-year license.
The 4-year License Renewal and the pairing of the entity license with the designated broker's license will greatly reduce unnecessary regulation as well as remove a cause of unlicensed activity.  The passage of this bill was the result cooperation and collaboration … (0 comments)

I know that alot has been written here on AR about how bad the 60 minutes report was.  I think that a good way to respond to this as a community would be to post the NAR response on the front page of our websites.  I have added it to my website..... www.BuyAndSellAZ.com.  Just think that if all 30,770 of the AR members did the same thing how much exposure it would get!

The Power of Active Rain! - 05/15/07 04:57 PM
As most of you who have been a part of the AR community for a while know, AR is an amazing place. 
This weekend I received a referral for a listing in my area (Mesa, AZ) from an agent in Washington.  He is working with a buyer who lives here in AZ and had her house listed (it's now expired) with a not so great agent.  I spoke with the agent in Washington and to his and now soon to be my client and hopefully I will be able to get her home SOLD soon.

Bad - Yet Funny Listing - 05/07/07 04:57 PM
 
OK I know that funny photos/comments have been posted on other blogs, but I just had to let all of you see this one that I just came across today.  I copied and pasted it directly from the MLS, the only thing I edited out was the property address & agent info.....
First notice the list price of $395,000 - then notice the Realtor's comments saying what a great buy it is at $419,000!
