Today, as I was doing some work around the house, the opening line of Charles Dickens' famous novel came to mind. The story opens with, "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times." I don't know if it's my joy in the Lord or my natural optimism, but I kept focusing on the first part of that sentence. "It was the best of times..." Switch gears with me for just one moment.
