Today’s home selling tip: Be truthful in written descriptions and realistic about the value of personal property to be sold with the home.
It’s common for sellers to include some personal property in the sale of their home.  In real estate terms, we say those items transfer or “convey” with the property.   These items should be identified on both the Listing Agreement a seller signs with their broker and in the Purchase Agreement with the buyer.  Common items are garden tools, hoses and appliances, such as refrigerators, clothes washers and dryers, and even that fancy outdoor grill.
