Earthquake hits Ashe County, NC!!!! - 08/31/10 03:35 PM
It was only 2.7 and centered at Mountain City, about 25 minutes away, but we felt it in downtown West Jefferson at our office. A strange rumbling and over in seconds. First for me in Ashe (though I was in CA for the Northridge one and felt that) though it has happened here before. For more, go to the Jefferson Post story. (1 comments)

Almost new Antique log cabin in Stonebridge. Sounds like new and antique don't go together, but this one is only three years ago but made with logs reclaimed from antique barns and cabins. This one features 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and the 2-story, native stone, wood-burning fireplace that is a hallmark of this community. Visit Ashe High Country Realty and look for property M151, and take a look at the Virtual Tour. (0 comments)
