We have a Closing for a condo-hotel studio on the beach scheduled for Thursday, and when I tell the Buyer that they would need to wire the money to the Closing Attorney, she said that she would bring a cashier’s check. And when I tell her that she would have to wire money, she is asking me why can’t she simply bring the cashier’s check? Actually you can bring a Cashier’s check, but if you choose so, you would need to do it a few days before the Closing day, so that the Closing agent can deposit the check and make

People (and agents) contact me about condo-hotels, and demand that I provide condo docs, minutes of the Board Meetings, financial statements of the Condo owners Association, their budget, proof of reserves... And when we do not volunteer all that without the accepted offer, they get upset. This one is is from the Buyer. "Nothing against you but this is one of the many problems I have with realtors. I wrote about Oceans Grand in Daytona Beach Shores about a month ago. At that time the lowest price for a 2 bedr/2 baths condo with den was $199,000 and I thought that this was probably the last time we saw anything in Oceans Grand for less than $200K. It was snatched right away, but there is another $199,990 there, and after a unit for $260K went under contract in just couple of days, and we were late even to show it, it is surprising to say the least. One of the nicest condos in Daytona Beach Shores is Bella Vista. I was showing a 3-bedroom unit there a couple of days ago, and could not resist the temptation to take the photo from the balcony. Imagine living in this building, and getting in the morning the rising sun, and watch the ocean change as the sun goes up and then down. Never boring. Always beautiful.
