This is one of 15 condominium buildings in the family of The Oceans, even though two or them do not have «Oceans» in the name (Cloverleaf South and Cloverleaf North), this is know in Daytona as the Oceans.
Oceans Four was built in 1980, and this is a unique Oceanfront Oceans. Only one building like it.

Looking for Best Condo-Hotel in Daytona Beach? Look no further. There is nothing like Ocean Walk Resort.
I have received a call from a client, whose 2 condo-hotels we have sold back in 2004. His brother was in town, and was looking for at least a one-bedroom vacation place with the least hassle. Future possible resale was also important.

In my recent blog Changes in Plaza Resort & Spa - Daytona Beach Condo-Hotel I mentioned that Maintenance fee has been reduced by $100.02 a month. Form $528.24 to $428.22.
Wow!
I think The Plaza Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach is the only condo (and condo-hotel) in the area to reduce the monthly Association (aka Maintenance) fee. But before rejoicing, let us think about it.

We have not visited the Plaza Resort & Spa for some time. So, what happened in the Plaza Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach since we visited it last?
Well, there are quite some changes. Plaza Resort & Spa is a condo-hotel, and it has the condoowners Association. There was an annual meeting of the Association. As I wrote before, this is the Developer's association. They do not run monthly meetings, and they, pretty much do what any hotel would do.

2009 has ended and it is interesting to look at what happens on the market. Fountain Beach Resort in the heart of Daytona Beach, just steps to the Pier, Boardwalk, Main Street, and all other places and events of the Beachside, is a 149-room hotel converted to condo-hotel 10 years ago, is offering 11 units for sale.

One of the best condo-hotel Resorts in Daytona Beach. Recent conversion, started with very brisk sales, but the market died leaving the developer with about 100 unsold units, however, the developer is the hotel operator, and they run one of the best occupancies if not the best in the area.
Prior to conversion, Plaza Resort underwent a multi million dollar renovations and is a real Daytona oceanfront gem.
