Well, I'm sure all of you have heard lots of talk about the real estate market and how bad it is, and what not. Well I'm not going to say that things haven't changed or that the market is great and all. But, what I will say is that the market isn't crashing, its actually normalizing. Real estate sales, or any sales for that matter, were never meant to be easy.

Sales is one the toughest professions there is. It's also one of the few professions that allows you to earn unlimited income for yourself. Now, I know it's scary working on 100% commission, and most people don't get into commission sales because of the uncertainty. But its one of those things where, if you dedicate yourself, learn your product or service, and develop a system to operate, its almost guaranteed that you will succeed. And not only succeed, but with experience, you will earn a lot of money.

I often tell people that when I got into real estate, I really had no concept of a good market, bad market, up, down, left, right, whatever market. All I knew was that I was going to learn the business and not give up. I was going to make it work. This is my ticket to a better life. After I say that to people in the business, they always say, "you know what, I didn't really think about the market either, I just wanted to get into the business."

So my point in all this is, it doesn't really matter what everyone is saying about the market. It doesn't matter what people are saying in your line of work either, what matters is getting back to basics, doing what we did in the beginning to succeed, you know, the hard work, the stuff we did before we got comfortable and started taking shortcuts. I learned a long time ago that there are no shortcuts. Having anything that's really worth something in this life, never, never comes easy.

I know you have goals, we all do. Are we ready to do what it really takes to achieve them?
